Two land deeds which were originally located in envelope 1822-1. These items were formerly A&M 1542, the original abstract for which was: "Two deeds from William D. Taylor U. S. Tax Collector, to John Peck for two tracts of land in Kanawha County, sold for non-payment of taxes, containing twenty-one, and forty one thousand acres, assessed in the name of David Miller and Co.; Isaac Lloyd and H. Sharp."

This item was originally found in envelope 1869-35 of box 256.

Item is a reward poster offering $30 reward for the apprehension of "Atolerably tall, slim white man about 25 or 30 years of age, with light, short hair, no whiskers, attempted robbery, and the murder of my wife..."
