Scope and Contents Kemp served as a senior technical advisor for the USACE’s official history of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway (“Tenn-Tom”), which stretches across Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. He conducted oral histories with engineering staff members of the USACE’ Mobile and Nashville Districts, wrote sections of the report, and advised Principal Investigator Jeffrey Stine on technical terms for the report.
