Scope and Contents

Kemp collected the records of the United States Senate and House of Representatives as they worked on the Rivers and Harbors Acts. This box contains bound copies of the United States Congressional Series Set from the 20th - 36th Congressional sessions. Subjects include the C&O Canal, public works projects, projects of the United States Army and Navy, harbor restoration, and navigation of the Mississippi River.
