Some tapes were recorded at festivals, including the Cedar Lakes West Virginia State Arts and Crafts Fair; the Glennville, Logan County, West Virginia Fair; and possibly others. Tapes represent music by McKay and other artists, like Frank George, Aunt Jennie Wilson, Wilson Douglas, Emmet Shaffer, Alan Freeman, Kate McGarrigle, Anna McGarrigle, and others.
