Includes 103 glass plate negatives documenting subjects from West Virginia circa 1890-1910. Subjects include "European peasant costumes" copied from a book, cats, dogs, graphs, furniture, industry, people and families, and outdoor recreation. Four boxes contain the original glass plate negatives while one box contains the sleeves that the negatives originated from, including identifying information where present. Digital copies are available.

"Methodism in the Wheeling, West Virginia, District, 1785-1910" was written by Raymond Martin Bell in 1963 while Bell was attending Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. This three-page history documents the Methodist preachers in the Wheeling area from the first circuit riders in 1784 to the preachers in the area in 1810.
