A Confederate ballot for the state of Virginia, dated 6 November 1861, containing the names of Jefferson Davis for President, Alexander H. Stephens, Vice-president, John R. Edmunds, Halifax Co., and Allen T. Caperton, Monroe Co., on the electoral ticket for the state at large, and Roger A. Pryor for Congress. Henry A. Fisher, Mason Co., Jos. Johnson, Harrison Co., and E. H. Fitzhugh, Ohio Co., are listed as Confederate electors from the 14th, 15th, and 16th districts, respectively.

Other topics include World War II (WWII) draftees, soldiers, casualties, and servicemen news; Vietnam casualties; accidental deaths; and Star City elections. There are also many funeral cards.
