C. Ed. Lukens Broadside for Public Sale of Land
Color reproduction of a broadside advertising the public sale of lands of C. Ed Lukens, deceased. The lands to be sold are described as valuable timber, farming, and grazing lands and are located in Randolph and Pendleton counties. The broadside lists terms of sale and also describes the individual acreages for sale, including about 6,440 acres comprising twelve plots of land in Raleigh county and 523 acres comprising three farms in Pendleton county.

Photocopy of a newspaper article from the "Lincoln Republican" (Hamlin, W.Va.) about C. Russell Christian. Article includes a brief biography of Christian and the last poem that he wrote, "The Wonderful Free-School Tree," and is dated 28 October 1937. C. Russell Christian authored a volume of poetry titled "The Mountain Bard" that was published in 1885 in Huntington, West Virginia by the Argus Book and Job Office."

The second part of the volume lists land entries for the period, 1806-1833, showing date, name of owner, number of acres, warrant number, and page number for recording of entry.
