Women Miners Oral History Project Records and Recordings
The Women Miners Oral History Project aims to collect and preserve the life histories of women in the Appalachian region who entered the mines as protected workers in the late 1970s after decades of exclusion. This collection contains materials created for the Women Miners Oral History Project, moslty oral history recordings and transcripts.

Women's Christian Temperance Union of Morgantown, Records

There is a discussion of the beginnings in Morgantown of this organization as well as a copy of its constitution and by-laws. The local chapter was involved not only in the cause of temperance but also conducted classes for the education of youth in crafts and literature and the teaching of the English language to immigrant women.

Women's Radio News and Interviews on WWVU-FM, Recordings and Report
In the spring of 1985, West Virginia University (WVU) student Diana Lee Murrell produced a series of eight women’s radio shows as part of her professional project at the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism. The show aired weekly on WWVU-FM, which is owned by WVU. This collection contains the eight recordings and a final report written by Murrell on the production and implementation of the show.
