Jacks, vice president of the Consolidated Laundry Co., Charleston, concerning the sale of stock, investment advertising, and the establishment of plants in several West Virginia towns. Also included is a prospectus of the Bennett Motor Co., Huntington; a Proficiency certificate issued to Janie Price by the Lewisburg Female Institute, 1892; and a typescript sketch on travel in Scotland and Greece in 1928.

Consolidation Coal Company Clippings

Overview

Weekly compilations of photocopied news clippings prepared by the publicity department of Consolidation Coal Company. The clippings are taken from a wide variety of newspapers and document to a limited extent the coal industry nationally. Principally, however, the clippings focus on issues directly related to the company, the Bituminous Coal Operators Association, and the United Mine Workers of America, relying mainly on Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia newspapers.
