Receipts and bills of lading for merchandise shipped on the Batchelor, C.W. Anderson, Sallie J, Cooper, and the Sonoma. There are also freight bills from the New York, Lake Erie & Western Railroad Co., and the Ohio River Railroad Co.

Beaver, steamboat agent and wharf boat proprietor, Sistersville. Also includes a promotional flyer to vote for Jeff Frame, Wharf Master, in a 1905 election.

Stevens Coal Company Records
Acme, West Virginia, company which consisted of the Empire, Acme, and Keystone mines, and also had an interest in railroads. The collection contains a letter-book, payrolls, time-books, and coal shipment records. The letter-book has correspondence between T.F. Garrison and John J. Shouk of the Shouk-Garrison Coal Co. Payroll records include deductions from wages for rent, smithing, doctor, and company store accounts.

Sweet Springs Hotel Records
Business records of the Sweet Springs Hotel of Sweet Springs, Monroe County, including journals, departure books, inventories and miscellaneous volumes. In 1792 William Lewis built the town and hotel as a health resort; in 1830-33, and again in 1857, additional buildings were added.
