Overview Correspondence, photographs and miscellaneous papers of the Gamble family, who settled in Hardy County during the eighteenth century. The collection contains letters written during the Civil War and reflect the experiences of Mortimer Gamble, Henry R. Gamble, Carr Gamble, Hamilton Gamble and Mary L. (Pratt) Gamble.
