West Virginia University, Athletic Jacket

Overview

West Virginia University athletic jacket, ca. 1970 to 1980, believed to have belonged to a student athlete. Jacket was manufactured by the Felco Athletic Wear Co. Inc. of New York, which was in business from 1959 until 1992. The jacket is dark blue with white and gold trim. "WVU" in cloth letters is sewn on the back and left breast of the jacket; a cloth "73" is sewn onto the left sleeve. Jacket is size extra large and made of 100% nylon.
