Correspondence, sheep breeding records, pictures of prize sheep, and other papers of the Beall family of Washington County, Pennsylvania, and Wellsburg, West Virginia. Includes material on the International Exhibition at Philadelphia in 1876; a Report of the West Virginia State Board of Central Managers, February 9, 1877; and samples of raw wool.

Typescripts compiled by a Wellsburg local historian, on the history of Holliday's Cove and the Hancock-Brooke County area. Subjects include prominent settlers, churches, schools, post office, toll roads, oil and gas wells, floods, gristmills, manufacture of gunpowder, iron and brick industries, newspapers, Indians, and the James Campbell and Alexander Morrow family genealogy.

An unpublished history of the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company compiled by J.S. Algeo, completed in 1956. In 1885 this firm originated in Wellsburg, West Virginia, as the Hazel Glass Company and established, later, plants at Clarksburg, Grafton, Wheeling, and Washington, Pennsylvania.
