Overview Correspondence of businessman and politician Thomas Beall Davis (1828-1911), brother of Henry Gassaway Davis (1823-1916). Most of the letters and telegrams concern the lobbying efforts of individuals and organizations to influence Davis when he filled an unexpired term in the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress (June 6, 1905-March 3, 1907).
