The Artemis Sisters Collective was a local Morgantown, West Virginia feminist collective formed in September 1982 for the purpose of promoting women's empowerment through creative, political, and social engagement. Overview
In the spring of 1985, West Virginia University (WVU) student Diana Lee Murrell produced a series of eight women’s radio shows as part of her professional project at the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism. The show aired weekly on WWVU-FM, which is owned by WVU. This collection contains the eight recordings and a final report written by Murrell on the production and implementation of the show.
