Overview

John Roscoe Turner (b. 1882) served as president of West Virginia University from 1928 to 1934. Papers contain a tentative schedule of plans for Turner's 1928 inauguration, a typed draft of Turner's inaugural address with handwritten revisions and comments, and several oversize letters of congratulations from other university presidents.
