Two diaries (1891-1892) authored by Jessie Campbell Nave (born 1867, died 1932 as Jessie Hill), the great niece of Alexander Campbell, a leader in the Protestant religious movement known as the "Disciples of Christ" and founder and first President of Bethany College. Jessie's father, Archibald W. Campbell, whose activities are documented in the diaries, was the editor of the "Wheeling Intelligencer."
