Scope and Contents

This series contains correspondence between the Dean of Student Affairs and prospective, present, and former students and parents, university faculty and staff, and student organizations. Topics covered include housing, budgets, student leadership and issues such as low class attendance and traffic congestion. Highlights include correspondence with the university president regarding student organized anti-war protests, as well as responses from students, parents and the greater community to "controversial" invited speakers, such as Cassius Clay (later known as Muhammad Ali).
