Series 2. Materials relating to Brooks's work as Dean of the College of Physical Activity and Sport Science

Series 2 includes materials created or compiled by Brooks in his capacity as Dean of CPASS from 1992-2019. There are programs from CPASS events; CPASS promotional pins; materials collected by Brooks at WVU and non-university events he attended; posters from CPASS events, including signed posters from the college’s 50th anniversary celebration of the Brown v. Board of Education decision; newspaper clippings and magazine articles featuring CPASS events and faculty; and other books and publications that related to Brooks's interests and work as Dean. The following books are included: Coleman R. Griffith, The Psychology of Coaching (1932), Richard Mandell, The Nazi Olympics (1971), Frank Graham, Lou Gehrig: A Quiet Hero (1942), School Program in Physical Education (1926), Stephen Potter, The Theory & Practice of Gamesmanship, and Robert S. Conte, The History of the Greenbrier: America’s Resort (2004).
