The representation and petition of the subscribers, inhabitants of the county of Berkeley, citizens of your state, respectfully sheweth, that these our charter rights have been infringed by a late act of the General Assembly, granting to Quakers and Mennonites an exemption from militia duty... we, your petitioners pray said repeal of act as may tend to lay unequal burdens on the people of this Commonwealth... etc. Xerox Copy Purchase.
