Index Card Notes: To the general assembly of the commonwealth of VA., the petition of the undersigned, stockholders of the Bank of the Valley in Virginia, respectfully sets forth, that they indulged themselves in the hope that the general assembly will authorize an augmentation of the capital stock of the bank to $1,000,000.
