Index Card Notes: To the honorable the senate and house of delegates of Virginia. The petition of the undersigned, citizens of Western part of Monongalia county, shewth, that in consequence of the very extensive territory and numerous population of said county, the docket of the county court is constantly crowded with business so that delays in justice are proverbial... many jurors have to travel a distance of 30 miles...etc. We humbly pray of a division of the county.
