Index Card Notes: To the honorable the house of delegates and the senate of Virginia, in the general assembly convened: Your memorialists, citizens of Brooke County, respectfully represent that an act, entitled "An Act More Effectually To Enable The County Court of Brooke County to Provide for Making and Repairing Roads and Bridges," was passed at the last session of the legislature...etc... and that the law is burdensome and oppressive on your citizens, while the bridges and roads are kept in no better repair than before...your petitioners pray that they aforesaid tax and acts inconsistent with the general road law may be repealed...
