Index Card Notes: To the general assembly of Virginia. The memorial of the undersigned, citizens of Berkeley County respectfully represent: that the county of Berkeley, in common, with many other counties is deeply interested in the contemplated location of the B&O Rail Road through the counties of Jefferson, Berkeley, Morgan, and Hampshire... they pray that the general assembly will afford that aid to the B&O Railroad Co. which may accord with the interests of your memorialists, and with those of the state at large.
