Index Card Notes: To the honorable the senate and house of delegates of the commonwealth of Virginia; in general assembly met: The memorial and remonstrance of the undersigned, citizens of county of Brooke, beg leave to the state, that a petition is now in circulation in the upper end of the county, praying that a new county may be established by a division of the present county of Brooke...etc... we protest and are opposed to any division of the county.
