Index Card Notes: Tyler County to the honorable, the general assembly of the commonwealth of VA. The undersigned citizens of North Wetern VA. beg leave respectfully to represent that they labor under great inconvenience in consequence of the prohibition of the banks of this state from issuing notes of the same denomination of those issued by the banks in neighboring states which issue notes of smaller denominations; Fives, threes, twos, & ones... we solicit that the charters of our banks be amended...etc.
