Index Card Notes: To the general assembly of Virginia: the undersigned citizens of Barbour County, respectfully pray, that a company may be incorporated with power to construct a railroad from some point on the Ohio River, not below the mouth the mouth of the Little Kanawha River, to some point on the Potomac River, not below the mouth of the South Branch, or that liberty be given to the B&O Railroad Co. to construct their road between the points aforesaid...etc.
