We, the undersigned, citizens of Fayette County, in the State of Virginia, being impressed with the necessity of appealing to a stronger arm than moral suasion would humbly represent unto your honorable body our earnest remonstrances against the existing license law, which favors, if it does not directly encourage, the sale of intoxicating liquors; so we pray you to repeal the old law and pass a new one forbidding entirely all vending of ardent spirits,...etc. Xerox Copy Purchase.
