Index Card Notes: Memorial to t he legislature: to the honorable senate and house of delegates of Va.: the memorial of the undersigned citizens of Clarke, Warren, Frederick, and Hampshire Counties, respectfully represents: that the petitioners inhabit a section eminently fitted by formation and rich production for a railroad at the Forks of the Shenandoah River and from there by way ofn. To Stephensburg and Romney, to Piedmont or Paddytown, in Hampshire County, there to intersect the B&O.
