Index Card Notes: To the general assembly of Virginia: your petitioners respectfully represent, that the laws at present regulating publications in newspapers are very indefinite and so scattered throughout as to be difficult to find causing losses to us in the collecting of fees...ask that a law in accordance with the sketch herewith presented, be passed. your petitioners also think that it would be to the general interest, if the amount of legal advertisements were extended in this state somewhat as here suggested...etc. Xerox Copy Purchase.
