William Corder Parton Gaul & Andrew Gaul of Barbour County sent to Camp Carlile from Clarksburg. Three 3 Union men neighbors of the above whose names are Francis E Paine, Hamilton J Partlett & Abraham Saunders called on me today & stated that the prisoners are not dangerous men but simply voted for the Ordinance of Secession I think they should be released on taking the Oath.
