Scope and Contents
The Projects subseries primarily consists of files documenting West Virginia First District public works projects. These include Appalachian Regional Commission grants, county and city sewer and water projects, Small Business Administration loans, the Grafton National Cemetery, and the Stonewall Jackson Dam. A significant number of files relate to the State Road Commission and road problems in the state. Correspondence with federal government agencies and constituents also appear in the files.
