As director of IHTIA, Kemp collaborated on research about Bollman truss, space truss and Fink truss bridges. The box includes these research materials, including computer-generated data, engineering drawings, reports, correspondence, graphs, book excerpts, handwritten notes, post cards and an invitation. The box also includes facsimile book excerpts and facsimile engineering drawings.
