Overview

Clippings of articles with illustrations regarding the history and preservation of the Cockayne house in Glen Dale, Marshall County, a farm house built in the 1850s. The Cockayne family settled in the upper Ohio River valley in 1795. The Cockayne farm was renowned for the fine Merino wool it produced in the late 1800s.
