20 seven-inch reels of vocal and instrumental music, with some oral history. Performed by Burl, Lee, and Sherman Hammons, Maggie Hammons Parker, Dwight Diller, and others. Recordings were made in Stillwell and Marlinton, West Virginia. These recordings have been digitized, and a contents list is available upon request.
Addendum of 2001: 3 inch, 7.5 ips reel-to-reel tape of Edwin Hammons performing "Waynesboro" and "Washington's March," originally recorded in the 1940s. This tape was recorded off of the original recording with a hand-held mic on June 7, 1977. It has not yet been digitized.
