Monroe County, Volunteer Soldier Payment Records
Two photocopied documents listing members of companies of volunteer soldiers, with number of days in service and amounts paid by J.M. Byrnside, agent of Monroe County. The first list pertains to the company of Captain Christopher I. Beirne in May 1861; the second list pertains to the company of Captain Fielding Fleshman in May or June 1861.

Montgomery County, Virginia, Plat and Survey for Land Owned by Samuel McCraw
A certified copy of an original plat and survey of 1131 acres of land in Montgomery County, Virginia. The copy and the original are dated 1787. The land was surveyed by James Hines for owner Samuel McCraw. The land was later sold to William Whitcroft, who in turn sold the land to Patrick Murray.
