Three portraits created as part of the West Virginia University Libraries Inclusive Portrait Project. Portraits include WVU professor emeritus Victorine Louistall Monroe (2022), WVU Basketball coach Kittie Blakemore (2023), and WVU College of Law alumna and lawyer Regina Charon (2024). The Inclusive Portrait Project was made possible by a grant from the Women of WVU Enrichment Fund.

One compact disc of five motion pictures and thirty-nine still images of the opening of Eliza's, a coffee shop in the Downtown Center Library, on February 20, 2006. The videos were shot by Professor Roger A. Lohmann, Division of Social Work, at the request of Michael Ridderbusch, University Archivist.

In 2012/2013, the Reference Department became the Research Services Department. The collection includes almost complete runs of the annual reports from 1940-1968 and 1990-2016. Also included is one report of the University Library to the President, fiscal year 1957/1958.
