Portrait of Caroline ("Carrie") Watson Fleming, wife of West Virginia Governor A.B. Fleming and oldest child of industrialist James Otis Watson, prominent in the formation of the Fairmont Coal Company, predecessor of industry giant, Consolidation Coal. The portrait was painted by her daughter, Caroline Watson ("Gypsy") Fleming Ward, a late 19th/early 20th century West Virginia artist.
