Included are papers which relate to Bunker's Civil War service and Willey's legal practice. There are a few items of correspondence on land speculation and immigration in post-Civil War West Virginia.

Scope and Contents The collection contains record books and papers covering a period from the formation of the county of Monongalia in 1776 to 1933. The collection is broken prior to 1796.
