J. H. Kelley, Physicians' Accounts
Four volumes titled "Physician's Visiting List," dated 1886, 1891, 1905, and 1906, for the Parkersburg, West Virginia, area. The 1891 copy contains a prescription written by J.H. Kelley, M.D. of Parkersburg, suggesting that all volumes were Kelley's. They contain numerous names, addresses, charges, and treatments, as well as other miscellaneous notes.

Ogden Murray, member of the "Immortal Six Hundred" and active participant in Confederate veterans' affairs. This collection also includes a series of newspaper articles by Edward H. Sims, ca.1949, based on Murray's THE IMMORTAL SIX HUNDRED (1905).

J.R. Caldwell of Wheeling, West Virginia, bought and bred cows in the early 20th century. Two herd books describe cows that Caldwell bred or owned from 1916 to 1923. Books document color markings, sires and dams, birth dates, names, buyers, and prices of cows.

J. S. Algeo, An Unpublished History of the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company, Typed Document
An unpublished history of the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company compiled by J.S. Algeo, completed in 1956. In 1885 this firm originated in Wellsburg, West Virginia, as the Hazel Glass Company and established, later, plants at Clarksburg, Grafton, Wheeling, and Washington, Pennsylvania.

Personal and business correspondence, legal, and financial papers of J. Walton Thomas, of Troutdale, Virginia, part owner of Mt. Rogers Furniture Co. and coal speculator. Thomas was one of the early owners of the Antler Coal and Coke Co., of Antler Siding, West Virginia, which dealt with Pocahontas Smokeless Coal. There are several photographs in the collection, as well as pamphlets and broadsides.
