Business Ledger for the Melvina Beauty Shoppe of Elkins, West Virginia for the year 1926 (368 pages; 8 3/4 in. x 6 in. x 1 1/4 in.). The business was operated by Harold E. and Melvina Mouse. The ledger includes records of customers, services rendered, and prices. Many customers requested the "Marcel", or Marcel Wave, a popular style of the era.
