Buttons, pins, and stickers for West Virginia and national political campaigns, including Gubernatorial and Senatorial races. Politicians represented include William Barron, Robert Byrd, Darrell McGraw, Mollohan, Arch Moore, Okey Patteson, Charlotte Pritt, Jennings Randolph, Jay Rockefeller, Jim Spouse, and Cecil Underwood.
The addendum of 2024 August 12 includes a Head Start flag that hung in the Office of Economic Opportunity (created as part of... President Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society initiative and War on Poverty campaign). The donor’s father, Paul Plein, II, worked for the Office. It also includes a “Vote your values in 2006 ... and for the sake of the KIDS” tee shirt produced by Massey Coal CEO Don Blankenship in 2006 as part of his unofficial campaign to influence Supreme Court elections in WV.
